It ended up that I didn’t need to re-glaze the tubs at my house in GG after all. Both were old and the surfaces had become gray/dull with rust stains around the drain from dripping water. Neither were worn through.
I found a guy who neutralized the stains and sealed the surface to make them both look good as new again. The best part is that it was half the price of what I would have had to pay to totally reglaze them. Instead of $300 or more to re-glaze each one, it was $390 for both! He even threw in some hardware I was missing in all three baths!

We have been using Transform Reglazing for a number of years. The grandson, Manny, is the guru in this area. If you need other than a pure white (sometimes a slightly less white is appropriate) remember to ask for it in advance as they need to mix the color ahead of time.
He just did a kitchen sink and tile counter tops a couple months ago. Usually, he’s on a job so leave a good number for him to return the call.
