At the Arts and Crafts Conference we found an excellent woodworker. We bought a gorgeous 1/4 sawn oak cross, with Mission style corbel-points on the ends.....which is unusual in itself. The quality is first rate, nice tight joinery. But what really knocked us out was when our cell phone went off after we left-- One of our friends was calling to say that the woodworker was in the AHS booth trying to give us back money we had overpaid by 15 bucks!! Can you imagine in this day and age, someone taking the time from a busy booth to refund money to people who had cheerfully forked over what we felt was a good value?? Mr. Johnson will be getting a great deal of our money in the future.
